Aisha Jamila Hinds is a famous American actress. Her fame is due to her role in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in the year 2003. First noticed in 2005 for the character of Anna, as seen on Assault on Precinct 13 The film was primarily for her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biopic All the Way, which earned her the respect she was due as an actor. Hind was also recognized for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for the third series from 20th Century Fox Television. Recently Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set to release the mid-year of 2019. The father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist and died in March of 2017. Her mother Vrinda was a homemaker. Aditya is her elder brother and an engineer for merchant ships. The older brother of Bachchan's Aditya is coproduced and cowrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her school of choice in Mumbai after she moved to Mumbai with her family. After completing her intermediate studies at Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She received 90% on her H.S.C. exams. Her adolescence was spent studying the classical dance and music over the course of five years. Zoology was her favorite subject. Bachchan took a course in architecture after she was awarded the title of Miss World 1994. The title helped her get into the modeling industry. She received high-paying jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also was offered a contract to be an L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. She played two celebrated role: Iruvar and Aur pyaar Hogaia. Both of these films challenged the fundamental structure that characterized Bollywood movies at the time, which pushed Bachchan to the forefront of her own New Bollywood. Her heartbreaking portrayal of Paro an adoring lover who is livid in Devdas (2002) which was one of the most well-known Bollywood films of the time and first shown at the Cannes Film Festival cemented her as Queen of Bollywood. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film she starred in that earned her the praise of her peers. The film is a suspense based on Rabindranath tagore's novel. That same year she was the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made an appearance as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan's beauty and stardom were then brought together in her first English film. Her return to Bollywood was to be seen in Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked: An True Story (2006).
